Rebuilding One Neighborhood At A Time Reconstruyendo Un Vecindario a la Vez Company Background and History Midwest Latinos En Acción, Inc. began its operations in May 2009. MLEA is a not for profit organization based in Rockford, IL. Our commitment is to make this community a better place to live and help families develop the skills needed for economic growth and stability.
Midwest Latinos En Acción, Inc. supports and services Rockford area and surrounding communities which include Affordable Housing, Community Rehabilitation, and Financial Education for Home Buyers, Day Care Center and Adult Day Care Center. Our goals are: job placement and support, respite care, planned relief for the caregivers of children and adults, social activities, and vocational training. Midwest Latinos En Acción, Inc. also offers information and referral services, and works to educate our community. | |

Mission Statement MLEA fights for social and economic justice for all residents of Rockford and its surrounding communities by exercising their rights and providing opportunities for growth and development.
Our Vision The vision of MLEA is to advocate social and economic justice in Rockford and surrounding communities, creating leadership, self-sufficiency and access to development opportunities for families of low and moderate income. Nuestro compromiso es hacer de esta comunidad un mejor lugar para vivir y ayudar a las familias a desarrollar las habilidades necesarias para construir estabilidad económica y crecimiento. Nuestra Misión MLEA lucha por justicia económica y social para todos los residentes de Rockford y comunidades adyacentes por medio de ejercer sus derechos y desarrollar oportunidades para crecimiento y desarrollo. Nuestra Vision La Visión de MLEA es abogar por la Justicia económica y social en Rockford y comunidades adyacentes, creando liderazgo, autosuficiancia y acceso a oprtunidades de desarrollo para familias de moderados y bajos ingresos. MLEA utilizará su experiancia para fortalecer la infraestuctura existentes en los vecindarios de minorías para desarrollar y preservar dichas comunidades.
